Brendan has filmed all over North America: in New York, LA, New Mexico, Toronto, and Vancouver, as well as his home town of Edmonton. After wrapping his highly successful eighty episode run in the titular role of Adam Young on the international hit series Mr. Young in 2014, Meyer has been working non stop! His  many TV credits include, Hallmark’s Cedar Cove, Garage Sale Mystery, and The Christmas Ornament, Teen Nick/YTV’s Life With Boys, each season of R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, Dinosapien and, of course, his lead role as Henry in the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl VS Monster opposite Olivia Holt (I Didn’t Do It). Meyer still feels one of his career highlights was when he visited to Sundance to promote his feature film, The Guest, where he played opposite Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) and Maika Monroe (Independence Day). To cap that year off, his own directorial debut A Job premiered at the Montreal World film festival last summer! Stay tuned here on where we will be posting the short film for you all to see!

Brendan completed three seasons with the Freewill Shakespeare Festival in Edmonton. His past theatre credits include Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, Titus Andronicus, Comedy of Errors and Richard III (Freewill Players); and Beneath The Ice (Fringe Theatre Adventures). He also has numerous directing (Fourteen, The Tempest) and acting (The Haunting of Hathaway House, The Tempest, Twelfth Night and An Unnatural Turn) credits with Celsius Youth Theatre, where he is the co-founder and was the co-artistic director.

Brendan is a self-professed Shakespeare nerd, who writes his own Shakespeare adaptations and screenplays in his free time. He is very passionate about movies and theatre and can spend hours talking about them! He has travelled the world with his family, seen many great plays and musicals, and maintains an extensive library of plays and books on the industry.  He is currently holding table reads of awesome plays with his fellow acting buddies!

Brendan is very committed to giving back. He has strong ties with Vancouver based Project Limelight, an inner city youth theatre program in Vancouver, and India’s One! International, an organization running schools for disadvantaged youth.  He has several screenplays in development, and writes his own Shakespeare adaptations.  When he has free time, you can find him in front of a movie screen, studying the greats such as Humphrey Bogart, Leonardo DiCaprio and anything by Woody Allen.

Brendan is currently located in LA but often returns to Canada for work and play.
